Temporary residents:
Visitors

The Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is an official sticker issued by a visa office and placed in a person's passport to prove that they meet the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary resident.
The VRT does not guarantee the right of entry to Canada. Admission to Canada as a temporary resident is a privilege and not a right.
Most visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to or transiting through Canada by air are required to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
